For the past 18 months I have had a very stiff neck, extremely painful most days and nights. Even worse, it felt that nothing could be done as the Medical advice was 'take painkillers', which I lived on for over a year. This in turn upsetting my 'IBD', so I felt even worse on them at times!!

When I heard of the Healing Miracle Service, I was determined to CLAIM my healing, even though I had never heard of the Catholic Church promoting a Healing ' Miracle' Service!!! I travelled down from Aberdeen to Glasgow with several others from the Prayer Group of the Magnificat. Leaving early on the Saturday morning, we travelled down by train, excitedly arriving at St. Mungo’s School, where we enjoyed a very special day with very Spirit-filled people. I was completely in awe of Damian Stayne and all he had to say - brought all of us up, very sharply!!

As the day passed I was feeling well, until we were due to leave for St Mary's Church for the healing service. Suddenly I became very unwell, but was determined to keep going. Standing outside the church waiting for the Vigil Mass to end, I thought I would never make it into the church!! Helen Smith was with me, and on entering the church, sat towards the side at the back. At this point I had to leave the church for the 'loo' and felt even worse when I returned and apparently didn't look too good either!!! Helen suggested we went to the front where there were seats to the side of the altar.

Taking the first available, I sat next to a dear little lady - very little! - who asked if I needed healing. I told her that I had a stiff neck and with this she laid her hand on my neck. I thought I had been given an electric shock!!! This tingling lasted until Damian prayed for various ailments etc, and then mentioned neck pain. With that I felt completely free of pain - it was amazing! Though still feeling like death with my stomach problem, I just could not believe that I had no pain and could move my neck more freely than I had been able to do for the past 18 months!

After the altar call, I went back to my seat, where once again Marie put her hand up on to my neck. Once again I felt 'pins and needles' and a burning tingling sensation, plus the base of my neck was clicking away like mad. I was quite speechless at the whole event!!!!

On the Sunday little Marie came up to ask how my neck was and I told her it was much better, though still a little stiff. She then said to me, “I could feel the bones in your neck all going back into place”!!!

As my next appointment with the Osteopath was not until today, I felt I would be better to wait and hear what she had to say before giving my testimony! This is her verdict: The neck is as free as it should be for your age. Though there is still one area still stiff (not painful), all the joints are very stable!!!! I do have a slight stiffness on the right side of the neck but NO pain at all, and have had two painkillers since Saturday 7th July!!
