In 1974 a friend of mine told me that ever since being baptised in the Holy Spirit the Word of God had come alive in new and wonderful way in her life. She encouraged me to join Charismatic Renewal. After going along to a prayer group, I had that same experience the Word was alive. For some time I had suffered from depression and, each time I was prayed with by members of the group, the depression lifted. I have been healed in other areas and cannot express the number of blessings received since being Baptised in the Holy Spirit.
A few months back a dark cloud descended over me as the depression returned. I thought I had lost God. I felt demented and, after listening to me, one of the leaders of the group prayed a quiet prayer of deliverance and the veil lifted. Praise God.
