New Dawn in Scotland
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Over the year hundreds of Scots have travelled to Norfolk to what has become one of the most popular conferences in the UK if not Europe. The annual New Dawn Conference held in Walsingham each year has meant so much to so many. Myles Dempsey’s dream of a week long conference has grown to what many feel is the highlight of their year. Speakers of the highest quality, praise and worship equal to none and most important of all a feeling of community where the Holy Spirit at work fills each moment makes this special event. New Dawn takes place in England, Portugal, Nigeria and Uganda! (Uganda attracts 70,000 faithful)

Now the good news is that there is to be a New Dawn Scotland. A committee headed up by the ever enthusiastic Dougie Hunter is well on the way to making yet another dream happen.

The five day conference will take place between the 5th and 9th July in Madras College, St. Andrews. There will only be places for 500 so you are advised to book early. Go to www.newdawninscotland.com for details on how to do that. Plenty of information will be available through prayer groups etc. throughout Scotland.

Dougie informed us that he already has some great speakers coming including Ros Powell, David Payne (CaFE) Steve Murray (mime artist), John Vaughan Neil, Fr Chris Thomas (regular columnist to Good News magazine and a member of English NSC) and more.

So, never mind a summer of sport, here in the
Church in Scotland we are having a
summer of the Spirit.
