Latest News

If you attended the Spirit-blessed New Dawn Conference held in St. Andrew’s in July and are now looking for a regular top up, then please check out the Diocesan information pages where you should find details of prayer groups in Scottish dioceses. If there isn’t a prayer group near you then why not start a new one? – your local diocesan team should be able to help you and as a National Service Team we will do our best to support you too.

Don’t forget to check out the ‘What’s On’ section to find out about the latest events happening in your diocese or nationally.

National Leaders & Core Groups Days

We held the first of these in May dealing with some basics of Prayer groups. We had talks and workshops on Leadership, Prophecy, Praise and Worship, Intercessory Prayer. There was an update on the recent Colloquium held in Rome on Baptism in the Holy Spirit. The publication of the document, jointly published by the ICCRS and the Vatican should be out later this year.

Between 80 and 100 people attended the day and he feedback was very positive. The next Leaders & Core Group Day, scheduled for Saturday October 15th, has had to be postponed until March 2012. If you lead or you are a member of a core group of your local prayer group which is part of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal movement, then you are most welcome to come along and join us for the day. There is no charge for the day but a collection will be taken up to cover expenses. More information will be available nearer the time.
